@bitbit Read some of the other replies from what I remember there are a few talking about Windows 7. This tutorial should work for most if followed correctly. However here is an example of someone posting an alternate way:

“Grace: Okay…I was sitting here reading this article. I tried it. It didn’t work. I tried some more suggestions on here. Didn’t work. SO. I was looking around….and DING a bell went off in my head. I right clicked them and pressed “Save As”. I went to “Libraries” then “Pictures”. Next I made a folder called “Skype Pictures” and saved the snapshot to it. It worked. I could then upload them to facebook! Sure it takes a bit of time….but they’re saved!! [Ohh... By the way....I have Window's 7 on my computer] Hope this helps for people like me “

im using windows 7 and theres no folder called AppData in my folder..

@Sara two things you can try:

1. Left click once on any application in that folder and then auto-highlight anything that starts with F (as in folder) by pressing the f key on your keyboard repeatedly.

2. If you have a little search bar in the top right type: Folder in it and hit enter.

@Tiffany, yes that is correct I was referring to your Windows username. I assumed it would have been obvious based on the context only having windows usernames in that folder.

ok I was looking for my Skype user name not my computer one!! its just under the admin computer name. Answered my own question lol

My user name isnt in there after I go to users….I clicked on show hidden folders and all of that, I just cant seem to find them!
